Zoe Saldaña shared rare photo of her three kids and their signature long hair in a throwback post shared to Instagram.
The family vacation photos showcased 11-year-old twins Cy Aridio and Bowie Ezio and 9-year-old Zen Anton Hilario, as well as Saldaña’s husband Marco Perego-Saldaña.
The Lioness star has been intentional about protecting her children’s privacy, making the rare photo dump especially surprising.
Zoe Saldaña is enjoying quality time with her kids this summer. On Thursday, Saldaña surprised her Instagram followers with a summer photo dump featuring rare pictures of her three kids.
“August,” the mom of three captioned photos of the family enjoying dinner, ice cream, and a stroll through a bucolic rose garden, where the kids enjoyed a game of soccer. Saldaña and her husband, soccer player Marco Perego-Saldaña share three boys, including 11-year-old twins Cy Aridio and Bowie Ezio and 9-year-old Zen Anton Hilario.

One photo showed Saldaña giving one of the twins a kiss on the cheek as they enjoyed dinner at a restaurant. Photos later in the gallery featured the children running and playing, providing a rare glimpse at the twins’ extra-long hair, which she cuts for them at home. Her son, Zen, appeared to have much shorter hair relative to his brothers’.
On her Instagram Stories, the mom of three also shared a photo of herself and the boys watching the solar eclipse, which took place a day earlier. With their eclipse glasses on, the family enjoyed the celestial event in a large viewing room with floor-to-ceiling windows.

The Lioness star has been intentional about protecting her children’s privacy over the years, making the rare photo dump especially surprising. As her kids get older, however, Saldaña and her husband have been more lax about bringing the boys with them to red carpet events.

In December 2024, the children showed up to support their mom at the premiere of Emilia Pérez in Turin, Italy. In 2025, the kids made several appearances alongside their mother on the red carpet, including at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, where the Avatar: Fire and Ash star was honored with The American Riviera Award in recognition of her contribution to American cinema.

The same month, Cy, Bowie, and Zen accompanied their mom to the Filming Italy Los Angeles Festival. The kids also attended the Los Angeles premiere of Disney Pixar’s Elio in June 2025. Prior to their 2025 red-carpet streak, Saldaña’s children have not appeared publicly since her May 2018 Walk of Fame ceremony, where she was honored with her own star on the famous walkway.
