- Jelly Roll nearly missed the June 9 show on his Big Ass Stadium Tour with Post Malone due to a sinus infection.

- "Shout out to that whole hospital. They literally got me on my feet for the show," the rapper said of a Novant Health care center in Charlotte, N.C.

- The musician's hospitalization on June 9 came just one week before news broke of his divorce from wife of 10 years, Bunnie Xo.

Jelly Roll is glad to be back in working condition after a brief stint at the hospital.

The 41-year-old Christian rapper shared a video to his official TikTok on June 11 detailing the medical episode that nearly caused him to miss a concert in Charlotte, N.C., on June 9.

The musician born Jason Bradley DeFord accepted a large bouquet of flowers at the beginning of the video.

"God damn I love you dude, I love you Austin," he said, referring to Big Ass Stadium Tour partner Austin Richard Post, known by the moniker Post Malone.

"So, I went to the hospital last night in Charlotte, N.C.," Jelly Roll explained. A member of his team noted that it was a Charlotte-area Novant Health hospital where he received care. "Shout out to that whole hospital. They literally got me on my feet for the show. I was puffy-faced. It was just bad dude, the sinus infection was bad. Now I'm all jacked up... they gave me a bunch of steroids."

"Y'all seen earlier in the vlog I had a sinus infection," Jelly Roll continued. "It's the first night since I've been touring with Post I didn't get to come out and sing 'Losers' with him, 'cause I just barely got through my show."

Malone kicked off his world tour back in 2024, announcing Jelly Roll and country artist Sierra Ferrell as his official supporting acts. Jelly Roll especially has stuck to Malone throughout the lengthy tour, traveling to different parts of the country, Canada, and to sites across Europe and Asia to play their music for fans.

The duo collaborated on the song "Losers" in 2024. The duet was released on Malone's sixth album, *F-1 Trillion*, and later promoted as the album's fifth single in 2025. The pair often sing the song together on stage during Big Ass Stadium Tour stops.

The night after Jelly Roll nearly missed their joint Charlotte concert, Malone "sends me a big flower bouquet and goes, 'Get well soon, Mofo! Love Ya,'" the "Save Me" singer noted.

He then gushed about his friend and collaborator, "When I say on stage every night that Post Malone is the nicest human in the world. I'm not making that up. I wanna say he's not a rockstar — he's the most rockstar dude I've ever known — but the most normal dude in the world. I love you, Post."

Jelly Roll's health scare came just a week before news broke that his 10-year marriage to podcaster Bunnie Xo is coming to an end.

According to court documents obtained by EW, Jelly Roll listed May 9 as the date separation, and "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce.

The former couple renewed their vows in August 2023 and appeared together in February, as part of her *Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic *book tour.
