A bizarre conspiracy theory involving President Donald Trump and a young woman has recently been going viral on social media platforms. The rumor is focused on a viral video that features Trump alongside Jayme Leagh Franklin, who is a prominent conservative media host and founder of The Conservateur.

In the short clip going viral on X, internet sleuths claimed that Franklin had a hidden button fitted onto her stomach. According to the wild claim, whenever she received a signal that Trump was sleeping during official duties, she moved her hand to press the device and gave him a quick jolt to wake him up.

The Wild Button Theory Surrounding President Trump

This conspiracy theory started spreading after several moments where Trump appeared tired or closed his eyes during meetings and speeches. Many people quickly jumped on the footage and claimed that the woman in the video was assigned to keep him awake.

The caption on the original viral post read, ā€œClaims she has a button fitted on her belly, and when she gets the nod that he’s asleep she moves her hand and presses a button that wakes him. They’re calling her The Zapper. No idea if it’s true, but it appears to line up.ā€

As the wild theory gained momentum, netizens had a field day. Many found it hilarious, and others took it seriously. One user poked fun at the clip, writing, ā€œWith #TrumpSleeping, you need a zapper to wake him up.ā€

Another pointed out a simpler alternative, ā€œWhy wouldn’t the person off camera just have this ā€˜zapper button’ instead.ā€

Believing the theory had some truth to it, one netizen posted, ā€œThis is actually believable considering the level of insanity we are at. Trump’s dementia is obviously getting worse.ā€

Another wrote, ā€œThe button not only wakes him up, but also gives the old man a slight electric shock—getting him used to the electric chair.ā€

The Woman in the Video Reacts to the ā€˜Zapper’ Claims

As the ā€œZapperā€ theory continued to trend, Jayme Leagh Franklin directly addressed the wild accusations online. Laughing off the conspiracy theories, she shut them down by revealing the real reason she kept her hand on her stomach.

Responding directly on X, she wrote, ā€œI’m just pregnant you weirdos.ā€

Despite her explanation, social media users kept spinning new theories and jokes. One user teased, ā€œDoes your baby have superpowers that zap the president?ā€

Another joked, ā€œIs the baby controlling the blank-faced nods?ā€

This was not it, as some pretended she was an AI, writing, ā€œNo way, it’s a bot it’s really obvious, c’mon CIA you need more than that to fool us, we are more aware than never?ā€ Another added to the robot jokes, ā€œMa’am, we regret to inform you that robots can’t get pregnant.ā€

However, one user admitted the timing was just too funny to ignore, ā€œI never believed the ā€œbuttonā€ theory but you have to admit it’s funny that Trump wakes up with a j-rk at the EXACT same moment you tapped your belly.ā€
