Viewers of the hit 1970s television series The Partridge Family felt a sense of déjà vu when they caught sight of the family’s picture-perfect home, for one unique reason.
According to Biography, the series utilized an already familiar setting for the family's two-story home with in-studio garage. The family's home was the same set used by other television series' during the late 1960s and early '70s.
It was a very common practice for 1970s television shows to share sets to save money on production costs. Due to limited budgets, studios frequently utilized the same soundstages, standing sets, and studio backlots for multiple productions.
Therefore, if you were a viewer of Bewitched, you realized the home was the same abode lived in by the Stevens' neighbors, the Kravitz family. Also, the home's exteriors were also seen on I Dream of Jeannie, Dennis the Menace, and The Donna Reed Show.

Decades later, in 1998, the home's exterior was also used in the Reese Witherspoon film, Pleasantville and the 2009 television series The Middle. The exterior was part of the exterior set of the Warner Bros. Ranch in Burbank California.

According to The Wrap, The Partridge Family home was razed in 2023 to make room for soundstages, offices and parking. The demolition marked the end of an era for classic TV fans who fondly remembered the house as part of the show’s enduring legacy.
The series introduced viewers to the fictional Partridge Family, a musical sitcom centered on a widowed mother, Shirley Partridge (Shirley Jones), and her five children who form a pop-rock band, traveling in a painted 1955 school bus.
The cast included Jones' stepson, David Cassidy (Keith), Susan Dey (Laurie), Danny Bonaduce (Danny), Suzanne Crough (Tracy), Jeremy Gelbwalks/Brian Forster (Chris) and Dave Madden (Ruben).
The series ran on ABC from September 1970 through March 1974.
