Savannah Guthrie’s daughter, Vale, turned 12 on August 13.
To mark the occasion, the Today anchor shared a few adorable photos of Vale on Instagram from the day she was born.
“On this day, 12 years ago. I will never forget this joy,” Guthrie wrote. “Happy birthday to my dearest Vale, growing up so beautiful, kind, soulful and wise. ❤️ I thank God for you every day.”
Savannah Guthrie’s daughter, Vale, celebrated her 12th birthday on August 13. To mark the occasion, the Today anchor shared a few photos of Vale on Instagram from the day she was born.
“On this day, 12 years ago. I will never forget this joy,” Guthrie, 54, wrote. “Happy birthday to my dearest Vale, growing up so beautiful, kind, soulful and wise. ❤️ I thank God for you every day.”
The photos, which she has previouslyshared, show Guthrie, her husband Michael Feldman, and Vale in the hospital room. Guthrie is shown wearing a hospital gown and holding her newborn daughter, while Feldman kisses Vale’s head.

Feldman also shared his own birthday tribute on Instagram. “Happy Birthday, Vale! 12 years old, a young lady now, but you will always be my little girl. ❤️🎈,” he wrote alongside a photo of himself and Vale when she was younger.
Back in 2020, to commemorate Vale’s 6th birthday, Guthrie shared even more photos from her birth. She also reflected on having her first child in her forties. She and Feldman later welcomed a son, Charley, in 2016.

“I believe in love at first sight,” she wrote. “And I believe in miracles.”

“Having a baby at 42 was certainly both,” she continued. “I am thanking God today and every day. I will never, ever, ever get over this blessing. There is always hope. ❤️.”
Over the years, Guthrie has shared glimpses into Vale’s interests and career aspirations.
“My daughter actually loves, she wants to be an actress,” she said in 2023, per People. “She’s 8. But I always say, ‘Honey, talent plus hard work can’t be beat.’”

“Talent alone isn’t good enough,” she added. “Hard work is really good, but if you have both, you can’t be beat.”
