āJust for context, I could not get my ears pierced when I was younger, because every time I would go to the mall and they would come towards me with the needle, I would just faint,ā Cooper shared before pricking her finger and discovering that her blood sugar was perfect.
In a July 30 social media post, the soon-to-be mom shared that sheād been diagnosed with gestational diabetes.āIām not gonna cry on the internet because Iāve never cried on the internet, but when I tell you, I almost did,ā she said, going on to explain that the condition arises when placental hormones cause insulin resistance.

āWhen I got this diagnosis, the first couple days, I was really hard on myself and it felt very isolating. As much as my family and my husband and everyone was there for me, I just felt like itās me on an island. Cooper explained that she still had some āquestion marksā about whether her efforts to eat healthy or exercise would pay off when it came to her gestational diabetes.āReading peopleās experiences, that has been the most helpful so far.
