Sean “P. Diddy” Combs has now reportedly seen his release date from prison pushed back just over a month, following a report he has allegedly spent thousands of dollars in order to live a more pampered lifestyle behind bars with contraband items.

The disgraced music mogul and rapper, 56, is currently incarcerated at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey as he serves his 50-month sentence following being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

Now, following reports he had been sent to solitary confinement after enjoying some alleged privileges, it is now being claimed that said alleged privileges have also led to his release date being pushed back.

People Magazine reports that Bureau of Prisons records now show him scheduled to be released on March 2, 2028, after the date had previously been listed as Jan. 21, 2028. His first release date had been scheduled for May 8, 2028.

“For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for any incarcerated individual, including reasons for a change in release date,” the BOP told People.

The news comes after Combs was allegedly seen with contraband items, including a cellphone, which led to him being moved to solitary confinement. People also reports that he was seen using a cell phone to look at Instagram and sexually explicit photos sent by a former girlfriend.

An NBC report also stated he had a “jailbroken” tablet, which he used to watch movies and documentaries, had special meals cooked for him, received massages, and had also been seen drinking cognac. He was also alleged to have had other inmates clean his bathroom and do his laundry as well.

Juda Engelmayer, a representative for Combs, has responded to the claims about his “VIP” lifestyle inside the Fort Dix federal prison. "At this point, the stories about Sean’s supposed prison lifestyle seem to be getting more elaborate by the day," the representative said.

Engelmayer added, "Anonymous claims that he has created a ‘VIP section’ at a federal prison and is handing out invitations to future White Parties make for colorful copy, but that does not make them true. Sean is serving his sentence and focused on getting through his time, his family and his appeal. We are not going to respond to every new story attributed to unnamed prison sources."

Diddy was initially charged in a federal indictment in 2024, with two charges of transportation to engage in prostitution, as well as more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and two additional charges of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, in cases involving his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and an unidentified Jane Doe.

A jury found him not guilty of the two sex trafficking charges and the racketeering charge in July 2025, following a seven-week trial in New York. But he was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

Following his conviction and sentencing, he was transferred from Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center to Fort Dix, which is a low-security federal facility. Diddy had previously been placed in solitary confinement in July after getting into a fight with a fellow inmate after the inmate angered him by “dissing” him.

At the time, insiders said that the two inmates began pushing each other before they came to fisticuffs. Prison staff quickly broke up the fight, and separated both men. Combs is still facing a series of civil lawsuits by individuals who have accused him of sexual assault, rape and drugging. He has denied all of the allegations.
