No one does it like Madonna!
The singer, 67, surprised an amped-up crowd of festival goers during Sabrina Carpenter's headlining set for weekend 2 of the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Friday, April 17.
Wowing the crowd with an iconic show was a given, but Madonna turned heads with her outfit as well, wearing a purple corset and lace-trimmed camisole with matching gloves, as well as stockings that she paired with knee-high lace boots and aviator shades.
Carpenter, 26, meanwhile, wore a white strapless bodysuit with a bow-tie detail at the chest and embellished lace, which she paired with drop earrings and white Mary Jane pumps.

Madonna appeared as a surprise guest, rising from the stage during Carpenter's "Juno" transition, before the pair performed Madonna hits "Vogue" and "Like a Prayer."
They then sang a song seemingly from Madonna's upcoming Confessions II album, a sequel to her hit 2005 project Confessions on a Dancefloor.
At one point, Madonna recalled her headlining Coachella set from 2006. "So, 20 years ago today, I performed at Coachella. I was in the dance tent, and it was the first time I performed ‘Confessions on a Dance Floor’ part one in America," she said.
"It was such a thrill, and it’s a thrill to be back. It’s a full circle moment, you know? [It's] very meaningful for me," Madonna added.
The Grammy winner last performed at Coachella in 2015, when she appeared during Drake’s headlining set.
Carpenter rocked a number of outfits throughout her Hollywood-inspired Coachella set, which she creatively coined "Sabrinawood," taking the audience on a cinematic journey through song with several surprise guests laced in between numbers.

Terry Crews made a cameo, as did Geena Davis, who performed a mid-show monologue as an older “Aunt Sabrina,” succeeding last weekend’s special guest, Susan Sarandon, who did the same.
Weekend one saw Sam Elliott open the show, while Will Ferrell later made a cameo as an electrician. Samuel L. Jackson’s voice also served as a spiritual guide
Last week, the Man's Best Friend hitmaker performed 20 songs at Coachella in Indio, Calif., as the first night's headliner.
She transformed the festival into her own version of the Hollywood Hills, complete with a "Sabrinawood" sign for her 90-minute set.
"I can’t believe I’m headlining Coachella!" the "Manchild" singer said early on in her set. "I mean, I can a little bit, but it’s nicer to say that, right?"

Madonna's Coachella appearance came ahead of the release of her new album, which is set to be released on July 3.
The singer announced the news of its drop on Wednesday, April 15.
The Grammy-winning icon unveiled the Confessions II cover, which finds her sitting atop a large speaker in a similar pose to the original album artwork with a veil covering her face.
In a statement, Madonna summed up the project by quoting lyrics from a new song titled "One Step Away."
"People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language," she said.
