The 34-year-old mom and wife of Jason Kelce answered a fan question on the Thursday, Aug. 13 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast about whether she was scared to try to get pregnant again after her miscarriage.
āYes, Sarah. I was terrified,ā Kylie admitted.
She went on to note that even after she was able to get pregnant with her eldest daughter, Wyatt, 6, the fear didnāt go away.
āEven when we got pregnant, I then, every single week was looking up what are the chances that this pregnancy sticks?ā Kylie recalled. āAnd then once I got into my second trimester, towards the end of my second trimester, because I was still Googling at the beginning of my second trimester, like, what are the chances I get to meet this baby? At the end of my second trimester, I flipped it. And I then asked the question, what are the chances that if I had the baby today that the baby could survive?ā

Kylie admitted that the thought process may not have been a healthy one, but it was a helpful one for her at the time.
āI think that sits with you forever,ā she said of miscarriage. āI had those same feelings through the rest of my pregnancies. You experienced a loss and itās okay to have that grief sit with you. That is going to be something that might pop up when you least expect it.ā

However, Kylie added, āBut if I had not tried again, I would not have Wyatt. So I think that sometimes you have to go at the hard thing and try again.ā
Kylie and Jason now share daughters Wyatt, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 1. She previously opened up about her experience with miscarriage during an emotional episode of her podcast in October 2025.

Adding to the heartbreak, Kylie struggled with the news as it happened on Jasonās birthday.
āI called my mom and told her that I couldnāt tell Jason because it was his birthday, which seems very silly,ā she noted. āIt seems very silly because obviously Iām going to tell my husband what happened. And I did. And it was hard for both of us.ā
