King Charles and Ex-Prince Andrew reportedly have a $1.3 million allowance arrangement, with the monarch allegedly providing financial support to his younger brother from his own pocket. According to a new report, the former Duke of York may now be “idling away” his days at Marsh Farms on the Sandringham estate after leaving Royal Lodge.

Speculation about Andrew’s whereabouts has intensified since his departure, while recent reports have claimed that Charles is giving his brother a substantial annual allowance.

King Charles reportedly gives Ex-Prince Andrew over $1M in allowance

King Charles reportedly gives his brother, Ex-Prince Andrew, more than $1 million in annual allowance. The Times of London recently reported that the alleged arrangement has raised eyebrows. Since the former duke left Royal Lodge, speculation has been rife about how he has been spending his days at his new home.

For those unfamiliar with the situation, Charles stripped his brother of his royal titles last year. Andrew was also sent to Marsh Farms on the Sandringham estate, where he was expected to keep a low profile.

However, his arrest in February sparked another controversy for the royal family. Since then, questions have continued to surround Andrew’s day-to-day life, with some wondering whether he was simply “idling away his days in misery.”

According to the outlet, that may not be the case. “He’s having a very nice time, thank you very much,” a source said. The report claimed that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been living comfortably. Furthermore, he reportedly faces no travel restrictions despite appearing to remain under police investigation. However, people close to him claimed that the ex-prince has not set foot in any foreign country.

Meanwhile, his reported $1.3 million-a-year allowance from Charles has seemingly made life easier for Andrew. Allegedly, the monarch does not how his younger brother chooses to spend the money.

Earlier, another report suggested that Charles was backing Andrew’s legal fight against police warrants. However, a source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice that while the monarch might support Andrew’s legal battle, he would not publicly back him.
