Olivia Munn shared her thoughts on husband John Mulaney appearing in Your Friends & Neighbors in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE
The actress stars in the Apple TV+ series, which is currently airing its second season
Munn and Mulaney wed in 2024 and share two children together, son Malcolm Hiệp and daughter Méi June
Olivia Munn isn't opposed to the idea of starring opposite John Mulaney in Your Friends & Neighbors.
While attending a PaleyFest LA event for the Apple TV+ show at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on April 11, Munn spoke with PEOPLE exclusively about her husband, 43, making an appearance in the series.
"You're going to have to ask Jonathan Tropper," she said, referring to Your Friends & Neighbors creator. "He's the one who casts everybody and puts everybody together."

"[But] I've actually never thought about that," the actress continued. "John, he's so busy with this [comedy] tour that he's on right now, and he did a thing on The Bear."
"He's also in David O. Russell's new movie, Madden, that comes out this Thanksgiving, so he's very booked and busy," added Munn.

Munn stars in Your Friends & Neighbors as Samantha "Sam" Levitt, who is having a fling with Jon Hamm's character Andrew "Coop" Cooper.

The actress and Mulaney got married in 2024. Together, they are parents to two children: son Malcolm Hiệp and daughter Méi June.

Munn told PEOPLE she is "excited" about her husband's current career endeavors, and he is specifically stoked about starring in Madden, a biographical sports drama about late football coach John Madden, played by Nicolas Cage.
"It was such a fun experience for him," she said. "Just hearing him tell me, when he was like, 'I'm going to work on this David O. Russell movie, and it's [starring] Nic Cage and Christian Bale.' I just was like, 'That's just so iconic.' I'm so happy for him."

When it comes to season 2 of Your Friends & Neighbors, which premiered on April 3, Munn told PEOPLE, "I love the writing."

“The first season — when I read the script — everything was so intertwined. It all kind of came back together, and I really enjoyed the mystery of that, and I was really intrigued to play a character who has so many conflicting feelings at once,” she added.
