You've heard of Jordyn Woods' lucky orange bag, but are you familiar with Ana Zortea's lucky bra?
The girlfriend of Miles "Deuce" McBride spilled on a superstitious style secret during a candid conversation on PEOPLE's new WAG World series just days after the New York Knicks won the 2026 NBA Finals, the team's first championship title in 53 years.
"Every time I wear it, they win. Every time I wear it, they win," Zortea tells host Skyler Caruso in the latest episode of WAG World released on Thursday, June 18 — the same day as the New York Knicks ticker-tape parade in New York City, held five days after the big tournament win.
The bra turned superstitious because of its win-loss ratio during the best-of-seven series, which she discovered after the Knicks fell to the San Antonio Spurs during Game 3 at Madison Square Garden.
"Sometimes I'm wearing a top where I can't wear the bra, and it happened that they lost that one day," explains Zortea, who opted for an orange, satin halter neck top that she paired with statement, sparkly black pants that night.
Zortea has since learned to strategically style her game-day outfits around her undergarment, a fashion-forward move that has proven successful given that the Knicks walked away with the Larry O'Brien Trophy.
"I'm going to make my top work around the bra. It's going to have to work it in," she recalls of her thinking while picking out her outfits for the games that followed, noting that this superstitious style strategy was in effect only for the NBA Finals.

"I like to wear the Knicks colors, which is something that I don't do during a regular season," she shares. "I don't even like to wear his face on my stuff, like on my shirt or anything — but when it comes to the playoffs, I'm all in. I'm bleeding orange and blue."

As for the future of this bra? Fortunately for Knicks fans, Zortea foresees it sticking around in the future.
"My good luck charm next season," she says.

Zortea met McBride at West Virginia University during her first weekend at the school after she relocated for graduate school in August 2021. They were introduced to each other by mutual friends in the athletic department because she was a swimmer.
"I had no idea that he was an athlete," she tells PEOPLE on WAG World. "But people started coming up to take pictures of him... I just really was like, 'Oh, he must be a famous TikTok.' TikTok was so hot back then. So you have to understand," she recalls with a laugh.
Originally from Criciúma in the south of Brazil, Zortea moved to the United States at age 16 to pursue her dreams of being a professional swimmer. She landed a scholarship at Florida State University, where she completed her bachelor's degree before making the move to WVU.

"I wasn't planning on coming to America. I was just like going to stay in Brazil, but because of the Olympics and maybe med school. That's what I always wanted to do," she says, noting that she "100%" dreams of qualifying for the Summer Games.

Since they started dating, the pair welcomed their first baby together, daughter Ace Katherine, in June 2025. In fact, she celebrated her first birthday the day after McBride and the Knicks won the NBA Finals — and she very much knows her daddy is a champion.
"She knows," Zortea makes clear. "We're making it very clear. He says that every single day."
