Amanda Seyfried posted a new video of her daughter Nina on Instagram.
The 9-year-old snuck up on her mom wearing a Scream mask in the funny clip.
Seyfried shares two children with her estranged husband Thomas Sadoski.
Amanda Seyfried’s daughter pulled a spooky prank on her just in time for Halloween. The actress, who also shares a son with her estranged husband Thomas Sadoski, appeared with 9-year-old Nina in a new video posted on Instagram.
In the Reel, Seyfried covered Joni Mitchell’s song “A Case of You” on the dulcimer. Wearing a Scream mask, Nina snuck up on her mom, who turned around and let out a shriek before turning off the recording. Several of Seyfried’s friends, including Natalie Portman, left laughing emojis in the comments.

Seyfried previously showed off her dulcimer-playing skills on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she performed another song of Mitchell’s, “California.”
Last month, Seyfried and Sadoski revealed that they’re no longer together. In a statement shared with People, the former couple said: “We have been separated for a while, and it’s proven to be the right move for us and our family unit. We’ve got each other forever—and it’s GOOD.”

Seyfried and Sadoski married in 2017 after meeting on the set of the off-Broadway play The Way We Get By.

“We eloped. We just took off into the country with an officiant and, just the two of us, and we did our thing,” Sadoski told People at the time. “It was beautiful. It was everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other.”

The actors welcomed their first child, Nina, just a few days after their wedding. They expanded their family once more with the addition of Thomas Jr. in 2020.
Seyfried previously described her relationship with Sadoski as “yin and yang,” particularly when it comes to raising their two kids.
“Yesterday, I looked at my husband Tom and said ‘God, that was good parenting. You stopped [the behavior] with your tone,’ then I came in...it was a gorgeous moment,” she told People in 2023.
